As you go through your journey,
try not to forget how brave you are,
being here now.
Honor yourself.

Daily OM

I’ve been subscribed to DailyOm for ages and some of the courses they offer really do grab me, however, cost is a big thing when you don’t earn an income. At DailyOm they allow you to chose what you can afford, within their specifications. So today I bit the bullet and I enrolled on the course ‘Heal Yourself with Writing’. It appealed to me because I can blog it, and I do like writing, and of course I also need some kind of healing too.

Below is my completion certificate and summary of each lesson.

My THOUGHTS:

I loved lesson one. The illustrations used and the ‘is that so …’ reactions of the zen taught me a lot about how to stay accepting and calm and to just let things BE …

I take responsibility for all my thought …

is that so …

... lesson one ...

My THOUGHTS:

I loved lesson two. disturbingly enlightening. Whose life am I living? This lesson has taught me that I need to work out what I want and who I am and then step by step I can start to live my life, not the life someone else has chosen …

you must carry a chaos inside you to give birth to a dancing star …

I have carried chaos inside me for most of my life …

it must be my time to give birth to the dancing star …

... lesson two ...

My THOUGHTS:

I loved lesson three. Seeing in images is not something I generally do. However, I can communicate with my inner self and others on a unspoken soul lever. I feel everything … Channelling is a huge revealer …

Listen. Make a way for yourself inside yourself.” — Rumi

My THOUGHTS:

I loved lesson four and found this to be one of the most enlightening lessons in the course.

How do I know about the world? By what is within me. — Lao Tzu

My THOUGHTS:

I found lesson five rather difficult. Firstly because I don’t really believe in the soul carrying on etc or animals taking over us. But what I do believe in is an everlasting consciousness, a sea of energy that is God and our energy returns to him. So what I did with this lesson is use that as my basis for completing the exercises. I also did my own thing on one or two of them.

You will never say goodbye to the past, until you understand why the flashbacks haunt you. — Shannon Alder

My THOUGHTS:

Lesson six wasn’t as enlightening as other lessons, but I did find it enjoyable and I am a still cloud reader, I will post some of my cloud pictures soon …

Remember: Life is short, break the rules (they were made to be broken) Forgive quickly, kiss slowly Love truly, laugh uncontrollably And never regret anything that makes you smile. The clouds are lined with silver and the glass is half full (though the answers won’t be found at the bottom) Don’t sweat the small stuff, You are who you are meant to be, Dance as if no one’s watching, Love as if it’s all you know, Dream as if you’ll live forever, Live as if you’ll die today — James Dean …

My THOUGHTS:

Lesson seven has been emotionally draining for me and at the same time extremely enlightening.

I am a believer in truth and honesty at all costs … Denise Mijatovic

With me, illusions are bound to be shattered. I am here to shatter all illusions. Yes, it will irritate you, it will annoy you – that’s my way of functioning and working. I will sabotage you from your very roots! Unless you are totally destroyed as a mind, there is no hope for you. — Osho …

My THOUGHTS:

I loved lesson eight. …

In the immensity of consciousness, a light appears – a tiny point which moves rapidly and traces shapes, thoughts, and feelings, like a pen writing on paper. And the ink which leaves a trace is memory. You are that tiny point and by your movement the world is ever re-created. — Sri Nisargadatta, I Am That
